Julie and her husband Dan live in Vilonia, Arkansas. They were married in May, 1979 and have two grown children. They are very active in their church, First  Baptist Church of Vilonia, Arkansas, where Dan is the Children’s Pastor.

 

Julie received her Bachelor’s Degree at Liberty University in 1979. She and Dan were state-side missionaries for 18 years when God changed their plans and called them to join FBC Vilonia’s staff in May, 2001. They have two married children and love being grandparents to 3 precious grandchildren. 

 

Julie has been on 5 Pure Joy retreats since 2012 and in 2013 God called her to join the Pure Joy International staff. 

 

Since 2014 Julie has journeyed through multiple cancer reoccurrences, with chemo/radiation most of those times. God has been faithful to her through it all and has used His word to encourage and lead her through this season of her life. At this time all her scans are clear of cancer.
