ABOUT PURE JOY INTERNATIONAL
Pure Joy International is a ministry specific to single, married, divorced or widowed missionary women serving overseas outside of their country of origin that have been sent by a mission sending organization or a sending church to which they are accountable.
Pure Joy International provides opportunities for missionary women to attend conferences held in a country nearby where they currently live.
Conferences are provided at no cost to the women except the cost of getting to and from the conference location. Hotel and meals are provided along with conference materials. At the end of the four-day three-night conference our goal is to have provided encouragement through worship, messages and teaching, testimonies, fellowship, and free time.
Pure Joy International also provides counseling for missionary women during the conferences and offers video counseling for the women and their marriage/family if needed. Video counseling is for missionary women serving internationally whether they have attended a conference or not.
Pure Joy International is also an inside-out ministry. We network with church women of all ages throughout the United States and encourage them to pray about getting involved with Pure Joy International. You can help minister to the women/families overseas, through prayer, going, gifting, and giving. This is a great opportunity for local churches to become involved in a personal way.
Hebrews 3:13
"Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called, ‘Today’, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness."
TESTIMONIES
"I left my house on Wednesday so dry and hungry, and God used you all to minister to me in ways I didn't even know I needed. I returned home refreshed, transformed and full of joy Thank you for allowing God to use you in so many ways."
"I can only imagine all the lives that have been ministered to and restored because of the 'nourishment' that was poured out through these retreats. I can only imagine the families who were on the brink of packing their bags and leaving their field of ministry...simply out of discouragement...feeling completely dried up, then leaving the retreats recharged and filled up."
"We were prayed for in person and from afar. It was overwhelming. A connectedness ran through and among us like a web of yarn that we each held a spot on. The tug of one person impacted the rest. Women from all over the island serving the Lord in various ministries were together in one room."
